Polling Source list

Source 1) How elections work
video on Youtube. This source did an amzing job of making the topic of polling understandable to someone who has no previous knowledge of the polling process and why it works. It was a great foundation giving me a starting point to jump off of. In, fact the video does such a great job that I used it in my presentation

Source 2) This TedEx video explained to me both the pros and cons of polling clearly which is exactly what I wanted to know before my presentation so I can present polling from an educational standpoint and not a biased view. I learned about phrasing and social pressure applying to answers.

Source 3) The Pew Research website showed me various polls and graphs to show me how results are displayed to the public. I also examined common issues that are researched. It was great insight into what topics Americans found important.

Source 4)Gallup: This was one of my most useful sources because it not only showed me political polls but also cultural polls which I found very interesting. It also talked about the company on the about page which gave me a great impression of their reputability being that they are one of the best trusted companies and gave some insight into their process but not much which showed me have secret the methods are of different
companies

Source 5) Government In America book: This book was the best source I had and gave a very thorough knowledge of polling with a breakdown of various definitions of terms used in the polling industry. This gave me the foundation of my knowledge and prepared me to answer difficult questions.
